• Email address — used for authentication and event communications
• Name (first and last) — displayed to other attendees on event pages
• Social media handles (optional) — X/Twitter and Instagram, displayed to logged-in attendees for community connection
• RSVP status — your attendance status for events

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Authenticating your account on this website
• Displaying attendee information on event pages
• Event coordination and communication
• Showing RSVP counts and attendee lists

That's it. We don't run ads. We don't do analytics beyond basic functionality. We don't build marketing profiles.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Period. Your information stays within CyberTrex and is only visible to other event participants as described (first name + last initial publicly, social handles to logged-in users only).

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted open-source backend platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with email OTP (one-time password) — we never store or see your password because there isn't one.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies — only what's necessary for authentication sessions. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. When you sign in, a session cookie is set to keep you authenticated. That's the only cookie we use.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time through your profile
• Update your profile information (name, social handles)
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Opt out of optional data collection (social handles are always optional)

7. Data Deletion

Want your data removed? Contact us through our social channels or event pages, and we'll delete your account and all associated data. We aim to process deletion requests within 7 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
