Plan to arrive as early as Thursday evening, but you're welcome to join any day during the event. We'll run trails each day, regroup in the evenings, and share stories over the most stunning red rock scenery in the West. Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or this is your first time airing down, there's a trail for you.
What to expect: Trail runs organized by difficulty, charging coordination, camping and lodging options, and a community of fellow Cybertruck enthusiasts exploring Moab together.

In town early? Come hang. Informal meetup for anyone arriving Thursday — grab dinner, swap stories, and kick off the weekend.

Route A & Route B — Split Groups
Kick off the weekend with two route options. Route A is the iconic Canyon Loop — a big-day drive through canyons, mesas, and cliff-carved switchbacks. Route B is Onion Creek — a mellower scenic drive through a narrow canyon with 20+ water crossings. Pick based on your vibe for day one.
Friday Evening
Route A — The Canyon Loop
~40 mi loop · 4–5 hours · Moderate

Long Canyon
EasyA scenic and easy off-road trail through a narrow, dramatic canyon with towering Wingate sandstone walls on both sides. Located off UT-313, Long Canyon is a hidden gem that many visitors drive right past on their way to Canyonlands. Features the memorable Pucker Pass — a tight pinch point where the canyon walls close in.

Shafer Trail & Potash Road
ModerateAn iconic Moab loop combining the dramatic cliff-carved switchbacks of Shafer Trail with the scenic Colorado River corridor of Potash Road. Shafer's famous switchbacks descend ~1,200 feet from the mesa top on a narrow shelf road with sheer drop-offs — one of the most photographed off-road roads in the world. Potash Road follows the river past ancient petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, and striking blue evaporation ponds.
Route B — Onion Creek
~23 mi RT · 2–4 hours · Easy
If we finish early — bonus options
Off-road drives tend to move faster than the estimate. If your group wraps up with time to spare, here are two great ways to stretch the day:

Gemini Bridges → Four Arches Canyon
EasyA connected route pairing two of Moab's most photogenic easy-to-moderate trails. Start with Gemini Bridges — a mostly-gravel road leading to the iconic twin natural rock bridges you can walk out onto for jaw-dropping canyon views. From there, push west into Four Arches Canyon, a slickrock drive through a remote side canyon featuring four distinct natural arches and dramatic rock formations. A great bonus run if the main Friday route wraps up early, or a perfect low-commitment option for groups who want something scenic without a full-day drive.
Paved scenic drive through 2,000+ natural sandstone arches. Delicate Arch, Windows, Landscape Arch. 10 min north of Moab.
Saturday, April 25
Route A & Route B — Split Groups
Three tracks. Routes A and B split and swap AM/PM. Route C is a dedicated expert day at Sand Flats on Fins & Things. All groups reconnect for the Worldwide Tesla Light Show in the evening.
- Morning — Group 1 runs Route A, Group 2 runs Route B
- Afternoon — Groups swap routes
- 5:45 PM — Meet at US-191 scenic pulloff · organize + sync USB sticks
- 6:15 PM — Caravan to slick rock pad on Buttes & Towers (Courthouse Rock) trail

Route A
~42 mi RT · 4–6 hours

Hurrah Pass
EasyA scenic ridgeline crossing high above the Colorado River with 360° panoramic views of the river corridor, Anticline Overlook, and the La Sal Mountains. The first major waypoint on the Chicken Corners route — and a stunning standalone destination.

Chicken Corners
ModerateA long scenic drive through Kane Springs Canyon, over Hurrah Pass, and along dramatic cliff-edge shelves above the Colorado River. The trail ends at the aptly named Chicken Corners — a narrow ledge with 500-foot drops and views of Thelma & Louise Point.
Route C · Group D (Expert)
~9.4 mi loop · 3–4 hours
Worldwide Tesla Light Show · 5:45 PM meet → 6:15 PM roll
Gather at the US-191 scenic pulloff at 5:45 PM to organize and sync USB sticks, then caravan up the Buttes & Towers (Courthouse Rock) trail to the slick rock pad for the show.

Trail Essentials
What to bring for the weekend
Off-Road Gear
Recovery boards, tow strap, air compressor, tire deflator, and basic tools are all nice to have.
Bring what you have — no need to go buy anything. Between the group we'll have plenty of gear to cover the weekend.
Looking to gear up? Our partner CyberOffroading has Cybertruck-specific recovery boards, tools, and more.
Radios
We'll use handheld GMRS/FRS radios to keep the convoy in sync on the trail. Bring yours if you have them.
Channels 15–22 (FRS, no privacy / tone codes) — we'll be using these for group-to-group comms. Each group will get a specific channel assignment on the daily itinerary page.
We'll have a few Cobra PX650 handhelds to share for anyone who doesn't have a radio.
Food & Drink
Pack snacks, lunch, and plenty of water for each trail day. Some of the routes will have us out through typical lunch hours with no stops for food.
Plan to eat on the trail. A cooler in the back makes life easy.
